I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my dear colleague, Donald Payne. Donald and I worked together for many years as members of @TheBlackCaucus, and through every fight, he kept a laser focus on delivering for his community; he was a true public servant.

For nearly 40 years, #EMTALA has guaranteed access to emergency room care for pregnant people that increased survival rates for at-risk patients. Now #SCOTUS is hearing #IdahovUS, which challenges the Constitutionality of #EMTALA. Emergency care saves lives!
